When people think of Málaga, the historic city and the resorts to the west are probably what springs to mind. But there is a lot to discover to the east of the city, with kilometres of coastline, national parks and traditional Andalusian white villages.
This month we’d like to take you to Rincón de la Victoria and its surrounding villages. Favoured by people from Málaga and Madrid as a holiday and weekend destination, it keeps a very Spanish population which is becoming increasingly popular with international professionals. The area has excellent public and private schooling options.
The town is lively all year round, with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Don’t miss a visit to the Cuevas del Tesoro (unique to Europe as one of only three marine caves in the world). With approximately 320 days of sunshine, you’ll always have plenty of time for the beach!
Beautiful Rincon de la Victoria
