There aren’t many places in the world where you can be on the ski slopes in the morning and then be enjoying dinner and a sunset on the beach, but with the resort of Sierra Nevada just two hours away from our home on the Axarquía coast, we like to take advantage of having the best of both whenever possible.
Take in the lights in Málaga city, (this year running without the usual sound show) breathe in the air thick with the smell of roasted chestnuts and don’t miss out on sampling the different Turrón. There are Belens (nativity scenes) throughout the city and a Christmas market by the port.
A Christmas in Málaga is usually one bathed in sunshine. On the 24th make like a local with a restaurant lunch on the beach and then spend the evening at home with your friends and/or family. Happy Christmas everyone!
