Rincon de la Victoria is a seaside town located in the Andalusian region of southern Spain, in the province of Malaga. It is situated on the Costa del Sol, just 12 km east of Malaga city. Rincon de la Victoria has a population of approximately 38,000 people and is known for its beautiful beaches, historic landmarks, and traditional Spanish culture.
The town has a long history dating back to prehistoric times, with the remains of a Roman settlement and a 10th-century Arab fortress, both of which are popular tourist attractions today. Other notable landmarks include the 16th-century Santa Ana Church and the Watchtower of Torre de Benagalbón.
The beaches in Rincon de la Victoria are known for their clear waters and clean sands, making it a popular destination for tourists seeking sun and sea. In addition to swimming, visitors can enjoy activities such as windsurfing, jet skiing, and sailing. The El cantal and La Cala del Moral beaches are two of the most visited beaches in the area.

Rincon de la Victoria is on the eastern side of the Costa del Sol, in the area known as Axarquia. Malaga airport, train and bus station are easily accessible, and connect you with the rest of Spain, Europe and beyond.

The nearest hospitals are in Malaga, of which there are several.

In Rincon de la Victoria, the shops are primarily clustered in two districts: Rincon de la Victoria and La Cala de Moral.
In La Cala de Moral, most shops are situated along the main road leading to Malaga, including the large shopping centre located near the motorway.
In Rincon, most shops line the seafront, along the main thoroughfare Avienda de Andalucia, and around the town hall and car park area.

Public Transport

Rincon de la Victoria is only 15 minutes from the centre of Malaga city and is connected via the local bus service.
The bus service also travels eastwards along the coast to Nerja.
There are cycle routes to Malaga centre.

Sports Facilities

Rincon de la Victoria has lots of leisure and sports offerings. Aspiring to be recognised as a sports-centric city, it has invested in various sports facilities such as swimming pools, rugby fields, soccer fields, skate parks, and padel and tennis courts.

Annual Events

Rincón de la Victoria celebrates Easter, Christmas and has its own feria as all towns and villages in Andalucia. In addition, it holds a special foodie annual event.
Festival de la Boqueron: The Anchovy festival hails the tiny silver fish which is an integral part of the coastal Andalucian diet. Thousands of kilos are cooked and enjoyed by locals and visitors alike in early September.
